Most common material for fabrication is ethylene vinyl
acetate (EVA) copolymer
EVA is elastomeric soft and flexible so easily processed
EVA has good clarity, gloss, low temperature toughness,
stress crack resistance, little odor.
EVA mouthguards should be replaced regularly since its
protective properties will be reduced
